Lagos State has recorded additional 256 cases out of the 389 new cases as confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
The New statistics also showed that Kogi state recorded the first case ever since the Coronavirus pandemic outbreak.
In an official tweet by the NCDC, Nigeria now has 8,733 confirmed cases of the deadly virus as at Wednesday.
As at 23:34 on Wednesday, Nigeria had recorded 2,501 recoveries and a total of 254 dead cases so far.
