LASG Announces New Dates For Screening Test, Basic Education Certificate

The Lagos State Examinations Board has, Thursday, announced new dates for this year’s Screening Test into Lagos State Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools in the state.

As issued in a media release by the Director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Supo Gbadegesin, the Computer-Based Testing (CBT) version of the Screening Test is scheduled to hold from Saturday September 26 to Wednesday September 30 by 9 a.m daily at the Lagos State Examinations Board.

He added that the Paper Pencil Testing (PPT) version is also slated to take place on Saturday, October 3 this year in the Six Education Districts of the state by 9a.m.

The director further disclosed that the Lagos State Basic Education Certificate (BECE) for JSS3 is scheduled to hold from Tuesday October 6 to Monday October 12 at all designated centres from 9a.m daily.

Gbadegesin urged all duly registered applicants to visit the Lagos State Examinations Board Portal www.lagosexam.com to reprint their registration slips from Thursday September 17 this year and ascertain their current exam centres after logging in with the PIN and Serial numbers of the candidates.

While wishing the candidates the very best in their forthcoming examinations, Gbadegesin advised school Principals to take cognisance of the prevailing COVID-19 situation and adhere strictly to the laid down guidelines and protocols to contain the spread of the disease.
