Final year students of the Lagos State University have resumed academic activities, today, after seven months of lockdown.
The school becomes the first public university in Nigeria to resume academic activities since the lockdown was lifted.
Following the agreement between the Lagos State Government and the University-based unions on the payment of the new minimum wage, the University workers agreed to resume.
According to the University’s spokesperson, Mr. Ademola Adekoya, resumption is, however, yet to begin, for all other class levels.
