The Lagos State Chief Judge, Honorable Justice K. O Alogba has mandated all High Courts and Magistrate courts in Lagos State to resume fully on Monday September 28 this year.
This was announced at the Lagos State Judiciary 2020/2021 Legal Year Summit held virtually on Tuesday September 22.
According to the Chief Judge, the courts will be opening with full compliance with health protocols.
The protocols include: all courts will be disinfected prior to the full resumption, sanitisers are to be provided for all courts, and face mask/shield will be enforced within the court and its premises.
Cases will be called as scheduled and registers to be opened at every court.
The CJ noted that further directives shall be released before resumption on Monday.
