In its effort to prevent a nationwide strike by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC), the Federal Government has scheduled a meeting with the leadership of Organised Labour on Sunday at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja at 7pm.
The meeting was earlier billed for Monday September 28 at 3pm after the FG failed to reach an agreement with Labour on fuel and electricity tariff hikes.
According to the Deputy Director, Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, Mr. Charles Akpan confirmed the meeting.
He added that the Minister for Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige will be meeting with the Organised Labour.
