Following the jailbreak of White House prisons in Benin, Edo State, the State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has imposed a 24-hour curfew across the state till further notice.
The curfew is to take effect from 4pm Monday, October 19 this year.
In several videos trending on Twitter, prisoners were seen freely running out of the prison’s door. There were no police officers on sight.
