The Executive Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission NHRC, Mr. Tony Ojukwu has said that the final year student of the Lagos State University, LASU, Adeyeye Babatunde, who was seen in a viral video inappropriately kissing his baby sister, would be made to face the law.

Ojukwu made this known in a tweet on his official Twitter account.

In the video which went viral during the week, Babatunde was seen French kissing his baby sister.

The video triggered the anger of Nigerians who called for his arrest.

Babatunde, in an apology video, said the little child involved was his sister and he meant no harm by kissing her.

However, the NHRC boss said Babatunde would face the law despite his apology.

He said his arrest was necessitated as he had committed a crime against a minor.

Ojukwu tweeted; “His name is Babatunde Adeyeye. Babatunde Adeyeye is a final year student of Botany in Lagos State University. He shot an “apology” video which was sent in to us today. He should be traced and arrested immediately. He has committed A CRIME against a minor and must face the law.”
