… Angry fans invade pitch, vandalise stadium facilities

Nigeria has crashed out of the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier after a 1-1 draw with Ghana.

The Super Eagles crashed out of the race on away goals rule to qualify for the World Cup later this year after drawing 1-1 with Ghana and losing on aggregate.

This development has put sad faces on Nigerians with some promising players like Victor Osimhen and others set to miss the mundial holding in Qatar by November.

Angry fans reportedly invaded the stadium after the match, leaving several properties destroyed at the stadium. Some police officers were seen firing tear gas.

The Super eagles who held The Black Stars of Ghana to a barred draw in the first leg at Kumasi, could not do the business in Abuja as they struggled to register just a goal after allowing their opponents to score a much needed goal.
