Over the weekend, Landwey, one of the top real estate companies in Lagos was accused in an online publication of a prolonged delay in the delivery of a property to one of its customers despite payment.
The website publication detailed how after full payment to Landwey, the distressed client is yet to receive his property, 21 months after.
While the publication acknowledged enormous Industry challenges in recent times such as shortages of competent labour, the Management of Landwey in its official press statement has reassured all stakeholders of the definite delivery of all pending projects as the company adapts to its new reality.
Addressing the reasons behind the project delays and setbacks, Landwey identified the dearth of competent workers capable of delivering at the expected standard and quality as the major reason. The organisation has since maintained routine communication with all stakeholders internally and externally with periodic updates to prevent a communication gap that can easily be misinterpreted.
Speaking on this recent development and the ever-increasing challenges faced by business owners in the industry, SeunEyitayo, COO, Landwey states “It is rather distressing that we are now seeing shortages of competent local talent at the different levels of development in construction. We realise how valuable time is in our industry as it often translates to monetary value, however, we hope our clients remain understanding as we adapt to this challenge.”
As a leading Construction and Real Estate Investment organisation, Landwey reaffirms its commitment to consistently providing international quality standards to its customers visible in its ongoing projects Millennial Town, The Apartment, Urban Prime, Northville Estate, and The Milton Estate.
The brand continues to stand by its ethos of excellence, accountability, transparency, and integrity as it strives to express these principles in the entire value chain of its offerings.
The Management of Landwey appeals to the general public to be rest assured that concerns raised will be addressed accordingly, while further improvements are being made in providing continuous updates to all relevant stakeholders.
