A man escaped death by a whisker after a huge billboard fell on top of his commercial tricycle commonly called Keke in the Ikeja area of Lagos.
The billboard fell as a result of heavy wind which blew and ushered the morning rain showers.
The incident happened along Kudirat Abiola Way before Oluyole bus stop, Oregun, at about 8 am on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
Men scampered for safety as the billboard loosened and fell off. It was also gathered that the roof of some houses were damaged
Thankfully no life was lost. The identity of the man is not known yet.
The billboard blocked the both sides of the roads leading to massive gridlock.
However, LASAA officials have removed the billboard.
