Apple’s newest device capable of 5G connection may be sold without headphones, a charger or a plug adaptor in the box.

According to respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who spoke to Apple blog 9to5Mac, the brand is dropping these accessories so it can sell its next-generation phone at a similar price to the iPhone 11.

Critics have however said they see the move as an attempt to drive consumers towards more accessories manufactured by the company.

If not included in the new device box, it might only save the company a few dollars as Apple store offers these accessories for less than £40.
