Lagos State has recorded one hundred and twenty (120) cases out of seven hundred and ninety (790) new cases of Coronavirus infections in the country.
The State took a back seat today as Delta takes the lead with 166 infections, making Lagos the second on the list.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this disclosure through its official twitter handle on Wednesday night.
It stated that the total number of confirmed coronavirus infections recorded in Nigeria is now 26,484 with 10,152 discharged persons and 603 deaths respectively.
On the 1st of July, 2020, 790 new confirmed cases and 13 deaths were recorded across the country.
The new cases were recorded from 19 states and the FCT, with Delta State accounting for the highest number of infections for the first time with 166 cases, followed by Lagos State- 120 cases.
