…Lagos Declares Work-Free Day For Sanwo-Olu’s Second Term Inauguration
The Federal Government has declared Monday, May 29, as work-free day for all workers in the country.
This was announced on Friday in Abuja through a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Shuaib Belgore.
The statement said the public holiday is to commemorate the inauguration of the president-elect, Bola Tinubu.
It enjoined Nigerians to continue to support and promote democracy through adherence to the rule of law.
In a related development, the Lagos state government has declared Monday, 29 May as work free day for the inauguration of the state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for second term in office.
This was contained in a memo released by the state head of service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola on Friday.
