Winners at the final phase of the Ardova Handball Premier League’s final phase will earn N2.5 million, the organisers have said.

The second and last phase of the league will hold in Lagos from November 13 to 26, 2023.

Handball Federation of Nigeria’s (HFN) Secretary General, Mr Almu Umar, who announced the date for the completion of the league, advised the teams to put their teams in order ahead of the competition.

He said the final round of the league will hold at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Lagos and the Rowe Park Sports Centre, Yaba.

Niger United and Safety Babes are currently leading the men and women’s charts from the Phase One held in Benin City, Edo State.

In its sixth season, the league’s new title sponsor, Ardova PLC, offers each of the 20 participating teams (12 men and 10 women teams) a N500, 000 preparatory grant, while winners get N2.5 million prize money.
