The Divisional Police Officer, Aswani division Lagos, CSP Oyin Frances, has distributed food and safety palliative within Aswani communities to further mitigate the effect of the COVID-19 and its spread among the residents.
The Covid-19 outreach gave out essentials like food packs, noodles, beans, hand sanitisers, and hand wash among others were shared within Aswani communities – Okota and Area ‘F’ police Barracks to widows and others.
For the CSP, the outreach was on the quest to enlighten residents on social distancing, nose masks wear, proper hand washing and continuous use of hand sanitiser with 80 per cent alcohol presence.
While assuring residents that collective prevention and care would help defeat corona virus pandemic, she said it would further return “Our once safe environments”.
According to Oyin, whatever anyone does well is a function of divine enablement. “Whoever finds delight in giving, even out of his or her little resources, does God’s work and surely makes the world a better place”.
