Nigeria international striker Victor Osimhen is now the most expensive player in the Serie A with a reported transfer value of €110m, about 108,104,644,978.00 Nigerian Naira.
As highlighted by Transfermarkt, Lautaro Martinez and Osimhen have the highest value. It’s no coincidence that the Inter captain is the current leading scorer in Serie A, while Osimhen was last season’s Capocannoniere.
The Nigeria international has recently signed a contract extension with Napoli until 2026 and it is believed to include a release clause of €130-140m.
Likewise, Inter will soon announce Lautaro’s extension, but no release clause is expected to be added to El Toro’s new contract.
Milan star Rafael Leao is the third most expensive Serie A player with a reported transfer value of €90m. The Portuguese forward has a €175m clause in his contract with Milan.
Napoli‘s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia ranks fourth with a transfer value of €80m. The Georgian is followed by Nicolò Barella (€75m), Alessandro Bastoni and Dusan Vlahovic (€60m), Marcus Thuram and Theo Hernandez (€55m), Federico Chiesa, Gleison Bremer and Federico Dimarco (€50m).
