Officers of the Lagos State police have, Wednesday, dispersed and arrested 10 participants of the Revolution Now protesters in Ikeja and Yaba areas of Lagos State.

The arrested protesters have been moved to an unknown destination while others at the scene of the protest are being chased by the police to leave the vicinity, according to protesters.

The #RevolutionNow protest is currently ongoing across the country.

The protesters, who gathered at the Ikeja area of Lagos, were attacked by the police with teargas canisters in order to disperse them.

The demonstrators were said to have taken to the streets early this morning to demand better governance from the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Presently, Lagos State Police have held RevolutionNow protesters to ransom on a bridge in Lagos.

According to sources, the police plans to bring in more reinforcements to pack the arrested protesters to a detention facility at Panti, Yaba, Lagos.
