Operatives from the Igando Division have arrested some staff members of a brothel in Akesan, Igando area of Lagos State after they discovered the lifeless body of a 40-year-old Pharmacist and asthmatic, Bassey Asuquo, in one of the rooms on Friday night who slumped during sex romp with a commercial sex worker.
According to the brothel management, Asuquo visited at 10p.m. on Thursday night after having a drink at the bar area.
The brothel management added that the sex worker, who has since taken to her heels, was contacted them on phone, explaining how the late Asuquo gasped for breath, attempted to reach for his inhaler but it was already too late.
However, the management alerted operatives from Igando Division, who were said to have arrived the scene swiftly.
The police disclosed that a packet of cigarette, an inhaler and a stained boxer were found in the room, the crime scene.
While the corpse was carried out, the police arrested two staff members of the brothel who explained that attempts made to lure the sex worker back was futile as she reportedly told them on phone that she was about crossing the nation’s border.
