Two men, Eniola Ayodele and Kayode Babashola, have on Tuesday been arrested alongside their girlfriend, Barakat Wasiu, after they were allegedly to have stabbed to death, Muhammed Obadimeji in Dopemu area of Lagos state.
Obadimeji was said to have been stabbed with a sharp object while trying to create peace between the two men who were fighting over Barakat’s love.
Although the Obadimeji was said to have been rushed to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) in Ikeja, he could not make it.
Sequel to his death, Babashola and Ayodele were arrested and transferred to Panti.
Reacting to their arrest, the Lagos State Public Relations Officer, SP Bala Elkana said Obadimeji’s corpse had been deposited at the Yaba General Hospital’s mortuary for autopsy.
He adds, “The suspects have also been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, Yaba, for discreet investigation.”
