Two Warehouse Burglars Busted for Stealing 43 Plasma TVs in Lagos Market

Operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) Lagos State Police Command have busted two warehouse thieves, Onyebuchi Chidozie and Ifeanyi Odo for burgling warehouses at Alaba International Market in Ojo area of the state and carted away goods worth millions of naira including 43 set of Plasma TVs.

The duo – Chidozie, 39; and Odo, 42 – were arrested on Tuesday August 4 this year. They confessed to have been in the burgling business for three years.

Upon arrest, the police said they recovered items including: 43 sets of 32 inches Plasma LG televisions and a bag containing some beads which they stole from a warehouse at Alaba International Market.

They suspects, according to the police, confessed to have been in the unlawful business for over three years. Investigation is ongoing and they will be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.
