The Harvard Business School’s Africa Business Club has announced the opening of applications for its New Venture Competition, a high-profile startup contest offering entrepreneurs from across Africa the chance to win cash prizes totaling $55,000.
This competition, hosted as part of the Africa Business Club’s annual Africa Business Conference, is set to take place in Boston this February. The event, which celebrates innovation and entrepreneurial success from the continent, provides a platform for visionary startups to showcase their impact-driven ideas and solutions.
A selection of ten promising startup finalists will be invited to present their businesses before an experienced panel of judges, who will offer valuable feedback and insights. The competition aims to highlight the diversity and ingenuity of Africa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem while empowering startups that are making meaningful contributions to their communities and beyond.
Applications are open until November 12 for startups interested in seizing this opportunity.
