Berkshire Finance Company Limited (“Berkshire” or the “Company”), a CBN-licensed and regulated finance company is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Reohob Nigeria Limited (“Reohob”), a foremost renewable energy and power consultation company, to finance individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises in the acquisition/installation of renewable energy solar solution to power households and commercial activities.
Recognising the need to align with the tenets of the global Sustainable Development Goals as well as the urgency to shift towards financing climate-friendly energy sources, the Solar Financing Scheme (the “Scheme”) presents a unique cost savings opportunity at a time many Nigerians are seeking alternatives to high costs associated with traditional energy solutions.
With joint sustainability objectives, Berkshire and Reohob resolved to develop and launch the Scheme to provide flexible financing options to individuals and businesses across the country in line with the parties’ joint mantra to accelerate and expand financing towards sustainable clean energy solution.
