Body of 19 years old girl, Aisat, swept away by flood from heavy rainfall in Surulere at 12:30pm on Monday June 22 in Surulere, has been found, Tuesday, and buried beside the Onilegogoro canal.
While four other casualties were recorded, three are alive and one is missing.
The flood, which was said to have submerged the canal along Alapafuja close linking bank Olemoh in Surulere, was a result of the Monday heavy rainfall.
However, LRT and community members searched for her body through the adjoining canals but abortive.
On Tuesday June 23, her body was later found at Onilegogoro canal in Surulere around 8:30am. She was buried by the community members beside the canal at Onilegogoro in Surulere.
