Lagos State has recorded one hundred and fifty-five (155) cases out of five hundred and eighty-seven (587) new cases of Coronavirus in the country.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this disclosure through its official twitter handle on Wednesday night.
It stated that the total number of infections recorded in Nigeria so far, is now 17,735 with 5,967 patients discharged and 469 deaths respectively.
On the 17th of June 2020, 587 new confirmed cases and 14 deaths were recorded in the country.
The 587 new cases were recorded from 17 states and the Federal Capital Territory, with Lagos accounting for the highest number of infections for the day.
