…Total infections in the country exceed 24,000
Lagos State has recorded two hundred and eighty-five (285) cases out of seven hundred and seventy-nine (779) new cases of Coronavirus infections in the country.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this disclosure through its official twitter handle on Saturday night.
It stated that the total number of confirmed coronavirus infections recorded in Nigeria is now 24,077 with 8,625 discharged persons and 558 deaths respectively.
On the 27th of June, 2020, 779 new confirmed cases and 4 deaths were recorded across the country.
The new cases were recorded from 21 states and the FCT, with Lagos State accounting for the highest number of infections for the day with 285 cases, followed by Rivers State- 68 cases.
