Lagos state has recorded Seven hundred and twelve (712) cases, out of One thousand three hundred and fifty-four (1354) confirmed new cases of coronavirus infections in the country.
This is the highest number of infections the state has recorded in a day so far.
On the 5th of January, 2020, no death was recorded in the state.
Till date, 32,687 confirmed cases, 27,337 fully recovered discharged persons and 250 deaths have been recorded in the state.
