Lagos State has recorded additional 161 cases out of the 276 new cases as confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
In an official tweet by the NCDC, Nigeria now has 8,344 confirmed cases of the deadly virus as at Monday.
Lagos leads the way with a whopping 90 cases from the 229 fresh cases added on Monday.
As at 23:34 on Monday, Nigeria had recorded 2, 385 recoveries and a total of 249 dead cases so far.
