Former Super Eagles star Henry Onyekuru has inspired emerging talents in the local league after the Saudi-based striker supported the players of Inter Lagos FC ahead of its official launch today, January 31.
The winger, who plies his trade with Saudi Pro League club Al-Fayha, was present at the club’s victory against Gateway United inspired the players for their display by doling out a healthy match bonus.
Onyekuru’s visit also thumbed up the organisation and management of Inter Lagos, having been launched in the last quarter of 2023 as the club has been campaigning in the Nigerian National League (NNL) where it sits joint top of Group B.
