The Global Innovation Initiative Group (GIIG) has joined forces with SparkRockets to introduce an artificial intelligence-driven platform designed to help entrepreneurs in emerging markets validate their business ideas quickly and accurately.
As the organization behind the African Startup Awards, the GIIG Africa Foundation, and the GIIG Africa Fund, GIIG is committed to fostering innovation across the continent’s 55 countries. The new AI-powered tool, which is part of the GIIG Foundation’s C2V.ai startup toolkit, aims to provide business founders with an AI-driven co-pilot to streamline the ideation and validation process.
SparkRockets enables entrepreneurs to generate a comprehensive business validation roadmap in just 90 seconds using as little as a single-sentence business description.
“For too long, startup success has been determined by access to resources rather than the strength of an idea,” said Jo Griffiths, co-founder of GIIG. “Giving African entrepreneurs access to SparkRockets marks a significant step toward leveling the playing field and driving large-scale impact.”
The SparkRockets AI toolkit was first piloted in Ethiopia, where early-stage startups used the platform to refine their concepts and attract investor interest.
“SparkRockets is a crucial tool for startup founders, offering business prototyping, pitch decks, and essential documentation. It provides structured guidance and initial analysis, making it easier to turn an idea into reality,” said Elsabet Gebre, product manager for the GIIG Ethiopian pilot project.
By integrating AI-driven solutions into the startup ecosystem, GIIG and SparkRockets are equipping African entrepreneurs with the tools needed to accelerate business development and enhance innovation on the continent.
