The presidential candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party, Kola Abiola, has again reassured Nigerians to turn around the country for the better if elected on February 25, 2023.
He said his first 100 days in office will witness monumental development while insecurity bedevilling the country will be tackled headlong.
Addressing party followers across the six states of the South West at the presidential rally held in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, at the weekend, Abiola said his pedigree put him in a better position ahead of others to be the next Nigerian president.
He said, “While with my father, the Bashorun of Ibadan in 1993, the presidential candidates of the APC, Bola Tinubu and that of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, were also there, but regrettably they are still around 30 years after.
“Please, let us work together to repeat the victory of 1993 by voting massively for the PRP.”
While maintaining that the time has come to send packing to those who have continued to milk the country dry, the PRP Presidential candidate said he would deliver on his promises to Nigerians with women giving more empowerment under his administration while the youth would also receive more job empowerment.

Earlier, the National Chairman of the party, Falalu Bello, said PRP as the oldest party in Nigeria, was able to demonstrate to Nigerians good governance during the second republic in old Kaduna and Kano States, respectively.
Bello stated that though Abiola is a Yoruba by tribe, he was voted as the presidential candidate of the party by members from the six regions of the country,
He, therefore, urged Nigerians to reject both the APC and PDP as the ruling party is a monumental failure and brought untold hardship upon Nigerians with no fuel and no cash.
Bello said, “There is no difference between the two political parties, APC and PDP as they are birds of the same feather who brought us to where we are today.
“It is time for Nigerians to move away from the locust years and vote for the PRP to redeem the country as the suffering of the people is becoming too much.”
Flags were presented to candidates of the party from the region by the National chairman and the presidential candidate.
