Leading Indonesian pharmaceutical company, Dexa Medica, has pledged to boost the industry in Nigeria via effective healthcare management of people across the federation.
The firm, which was part of the just concluded three-day Medica West Africa Conference in Lagos, through its distribution partner, Orange Drugs Limited, said its innovative technology and rich portfolio of pharmaceutical products would better healthcare services in the country.
According to the Country Manager, Dexa Medica Nigeria and West Africa, Dhanang Riyo Anggoro, the firm’s interests are not only for business, but also to contribute immensely towards improving the wellbeing of Nigerians.
He said in line with the company’s objective of ensuring that consumers maintain healthy and pain-free lifestyles, it had embarked on what is called “Boska Pain-Free Day” to promote health in communities.
Anggoro said the activity entails free consultations and optical checkup sessions besides issuance of free eyeglasses and body massage sessions, stating that 56 editions have been held so far in different Nigerian states this year in alone, with plans to do more in the last quarter.
The country manager observed that the organisation, which was established in 1969 in Indonesia, is currently active in four continents, namely Asia, Africa, Europe and North America on the pillars of quality and innovation with its modern manufacturing facilities inspected and approved by the highest regulators in Australia and Germany.
