Kabiru noted that approval was granted for the reclamation of 100 hectares of land for a project named Ostia Islands beside the Orange Island in the Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos.
He added that work had commenced on the site, noting that it was being handled by OSTIA Construction Company.
“Approval was also granted for the reclamation of 54.58 hectares at Makoko for redevelopment by Messrs FBT Coral Estate Limited.
“Approval was given to the project named Majidun Awori Island with the aim of bringing commercial, residential and real estate development to the Ikorodu corridor.
“Others are King’s City Island to be located 300 metres North of Victoria Garden City with proposed 150 hectares and Olumegbon Royal Land (Palaver Yard Extension) with proposed 6.6 hectares of land. The four Islands are under the public private partnership arrangement of the Lagos State Government,” he added.
