Lagos College of Nursing Tasks Staff on Efficient, Effective Service Delivery

The Provost, Lagos State College of Nursing, Midwifery and Public Health Nursing, Igando, Mrs. Oyefunso Orenuga, has tasked staffers to be efficient and effective in discharging their duties in order to improve service delivery and enhance performance.

Orenuga disclosed this in her address while declaring open an in-house training organised for staff across all cadres.

She explained that the training programme is aimed at enriching the skills and knowledge of both academic and non-academic staff of the college.

She stated that the programme will also, boost the capacity of the participants with a view to improving productivity, noting that periodic training is one of the mandates of the college designed to add value to performance and ensure an overall effective service delivery.

According to the provost, the training was also meant to align the staff with the T.H.E.M.E.S. Agenda of the present administration as well as their thoughts and mindset with the mission and vision of the college while developing its organisational culture by keying into the collegiate system of the educational based programme.
