Lagos Police Arrests 4 Traffic Robbery Suspects, Recovers 36 Stolen Phones

Operatives of the Lagos state police command has, Monday, arrested four suspected traffic robbers notorious for dispossessing unsuspecting citizens of their valuables in traffic in mile2 area and its environs in the state.

The suspects, who specialise in traffic robbery, are: Chima Christopher, 25, of Aiyemiru Street, Okoyo Old Ojo road, Olodi Apapa; Azeez Sulaimon, 24; Shakiru Oke, 25; and Yusuf Ganiu aged 25.

They were nabbed by credible intelligence and operatives from Area B Command, Apapa at their hideouts at Big Ben Hotel Old Ojo road Apapa.

Exhibits found on them upon arrest were 36 different brands of phones suspected to have been stolen from different victims around Mile 2, Oshodi, Ijora, Case Way, Eko bridge and its environs.

The Commissioner of Police, Hakeen Odumosu, assured the public that the suspects would be charged to court.
