A pupil of Caleb British International School, Lekki, Lagos State, Toluwalase Oseni, has become the latest winner of the 2020 World Scavenger Hunt Award.
The World Scavenger Hunt is an annual global entrepreneurial competition, established, in 2012, by the University of Delaware, United States, to identify entrepreneurially talented high school pupils and teams with ideas on issues affecting their generation.
The 2020 edition was held virtually.
According to one of the programme’s coordinator, Mrs.Rachel Strauss, each of the finalists were assessed on their level of critical thinking, creativity and leadership qualities.
She disclosed that prior to the emergence of the winners in the eight award categories, all the finalists had undergone a four-week special e-learning training by some upwardly mobile entrepreneurs from around the world.

Strauss explained that the training was aimed at exposing them to different skills on how to succeed as entrepreneurs before the submission of their pitch deck and video presentation of their ideas to the judges.
