Officials of the Lagos State Task Force have on Wednesday killed two commercial motorists following a disagreement in Abule-Egba area of the state.
The tragic incident was said to have occurred after a heated argument ensued between bus drivers and officials of the taskforce, which resulted in the death of the deceased.
The victims said to be a driver and conductor, were allegedly shot by the officials for yet to be ascertained reasons.
Another account indicated that the Taskforce officials crushed the driver with their patrol vehicle, a development that provoked the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in the axis.
While security officials like the police was yet to arrive the scene, eyewitnesses said there were gunshots heard severally, as stray bullets were alleged to have hit some road users.
