The current sitting of the Lagos State Panel of Judicial Inquiry probing the alleged October 20th shooting of #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki tollgate was prevented from holding, Saturday, as a youth member of the panel, Oluwarinu Oduala, did not show up.

Oduala, who is among the conveners of the #EndSARS protests, did not show up for the Saturday sitting in protest against the freezing of her bank account by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The CBN obtained a court order freezing the accounts of 20 #EndSARS promoters till January 2021, including Oduala’s.
The order was pursuant to a motion ex parte filed by the CBN before a Federal High Court.
The chairman of the judicial panel, retired Justice Doris Okuwobi, said the panel would have to suspend Saturday sitting as it could not form a quorum in the absence of the youth member of the panel.
