Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested Mr. Uchenna Clifford after he allegedly defiled his neighbour’s six-year-old daughter (names withheld) by penetration with his fingers in Olokodana area of the state.
It was gathered that the alleged paedophile returned home from work that evening and lured the minor into his apartment, where he perpetrated the act.
Clifford, according to the child who confided in her mother, let her go home later-on but warned her sternly to keep it a secret.
The survivor, however, went home and old her mother what happened. The mother swiftly called on the attention of the police, who nabbed Clifford.
The alleged sexual abuse has been transferred to the Gender Section of the Police Command, Ikeja for further investigation. He was said to have confessed to the crime but denied penetrating her.
Following thorough investigations by the police, Clifford was found culpable of the criminal act, and has charged to court for penetration with fingers.
