The Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment has on Wednesday denied social media messages about an ongoing internship programme under its Graduate Internship program in Lagos State.
The denial was made public after a social media message went viral asking both the unemployed youths to register for the ongoing Lagos State Internship program on: gipplasg.lagosstate.gov.ng
In the press release signed by the Director, Public Affairs, Babatunde Adele, the message did not originate from the Ministry.
According to Adele, “Although the Ministry has been in charge of Graduate Internship Programme over the years, it is however, necessary to clarify that the commencement date for 2023 edition of the programme is yet to be made public.
“The Ministry will make official public announcement as soon as the 2023 edition of the Programme is approved using the various social media platforms of the State Government and other communication platforms.”
He urged Lagos residents to desist from sharing opportunities without proper verification.
