A notorious gang of armed men allegedly terrorising Bariga area of Lagos state has again robbed a lotto (Baba Ijebu) and Paga shop owner, Oliwo Ismail, on Friday noon at gunpoint and carted away winning tickets and a whooping N123,000 on Friday August 21.
As listed by the two-time victim of same syndicate, the kingpin of the gang who robbed him are: Akinpelu Toheeb also known as Agbara, and Suenu Ahmed popularly known as Tabuta.
Ismail, a Paga operator and Lotto (Baba Ijebu) agent said the armed robbers and cult boys beat him up in broad day light at Akoka road.
Oliwo, who was also stabbed and injured severally, said he made a formal complaint at the Bariga Police Station, Ilaje last year but all was to no avail.
Oliwo was robbed in June 2019 and August this year respectively.
According to residents, Toheeb is not just notorious in Bariga but also regular customer of Bariga Division Police Station.
All efforts to reach the State Police Spokesman, SP Bala Elkana, proved abortive.
