Chairman of the Police Trust Fund (PTF), Mr. Sulaiman Abba, Friday, has promised to renovate the dilapidated structures police barracks at Obalende and Ikeja areas of Lagos State, respectively.
Abba promised to improve the welfare of personnel of the Force.
The police spokesperson in the state, SP Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement, said Abbah inspected the facilities in company with the state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, CP in charge of Works, Department of Logistics and Supply, Aliyu Abubakar, and Commander, Area A, Lion Building, ACP Bode Ojajuni.
The Police Trust Fund Chairman, Sulaiman Abba, assured the police personnel and their families of the President’s commitment to improve their welfare and living conditions with a view to getting the best service delivery from them.”
“He further reiterated that the present President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration has deemed it fit to kick-start the Trust Fund to improve the Nigeria Police especially in the areas of training, welfare, logistics and a host of others, for more reinforced internal security of the country.”
