The ranking of Redeemer’s University, as the overall best and number one among private institution in Nigeria has propelled human capital development.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Anthony Akinlo who discovered this at the 14th convocation and degree-awarding ceremony of the institution in Ede, Osun State on Thursday, noted that in the last one year the University has increased greatly in academic and infrastructural development.
On the institution achievement, the VC said the University African Center of Excellence for the Geonomics of Infectious Diseases (ACEGID) was declared winner of the 2021 Nigerian Academy of Science Gold Medal price award for research breakthrough and capacity building across African continent.
He noted that the six hundred and thirty-five 2022 graduands also known as (Diamond set) were quality shining light in their various respective fields.
Prof Akinlo charged the graduating students to be good ambassador of the university wherever they might find themselves.
Meanwhile, the Pro-Chancellor, Chairman of Council, redeemers university, Pastor E. Odeyemi said the university has been recognised within and outside the shores of the country for its talented researchers and continental powerhouse for research in genomics of infectious disease.
Odeyemi further explained that RUN is driven by the passion to always achieved more and also enhanced its reputation both nationally and internationally.
