After some initial delays in rescuing Nigerians that are stranded in the middle of the Russia- Ukraine war, 416 Nigerians who fled Ukraine to Romania after the East European country was invaded by Russia, have arrived in Abuja.
The Max Air plane which conveyed the Nigerians on Friday morning, landed at the private jet terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
This cheering news is coming after the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama stated that about Willing Nigerians among 2000 who have crossed the Ukraine border into neigbouring countries, would be brought back to Nigeria.
Recall that the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, weeks ago declared war on Ukraine which has caused so much tension in the global world and rising oil prices among other effects.
