Spotify announced that Davido has broken the biggest first day stream on its Nigerian platform. The album garnered 4.91 million streams on its first day of release; surpassing the previous record of 1.36M by Burna Boy’s ‘Love, Damini’.
Davido’s ‘Timeless’ also broke the record for the biggest first-day streams on Boomplay by tallying 7.25 million streams on opening day surpassing the previously set record by Burna Boy’s ‘Love, Damini’ at 3.38 million streams.
