The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has refuted claims that it suspended the ongoing reality show, Big Brother Naija.
A report on social media, Friday, said that Minister of Information and Cultural Orientation, Alhaji Lai Mohammed had directed the broadcast regulator to stop the BBNaija broadcast in the country.
However, the NBC’s Acting Director-General, Dr. Armstrong Idachaba said that the show was still allowed to run. He urged Nigerians to disregard the report.
The Big Brother Naija Season 5 premiered on July 19. It features 20 different people co-habitating in an organised setting to battle for the top prize of N85 million Naira.
