The Super Eagles of Nigeria were able to hold the Black Stars of Ghana to a goalless draw in World Cup playoff match that held in Kumasi.
Both teams had chances that they could not convert into goals in the pulsating encounter. Nigerian goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho was specially brilliant as his saves contributed to the frustration of the home team who made several attempts to score a goal.
The reverse leg will hold on Tuesday at the National Stadium, Abuja.
