The Lagos State Government on Tuesday had a ceremonial receipt of food palliative items from the CaCOVID team. The estimated number of beneficiaries to be addressed is ongoing via the process of the LASG team repackaging items into single beneficiary packs for easy distribution and logistics.
So far, 50,000 beneficiary packs contain 10kg of rice, 5kg of garri, 5kg of sugar, 1kg of salt, two cartons of indomie noodles and a carton of pasta.
They are ready for distribution as par phase 1, which is to begin towards the end of the week.
The 2nd phase of distribution would be the subsequent repackaging of the balance food items and quantities communicated to the public in line with audit from both the LASG and CaCOVID teams.
