…Total infections in the country exceed 25,000
Lagos State has recorded one hundred and sixty-six (166) cases out of five hundred and sixty-six (566) new cases of Coronavirus infections in the country.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this disclosure through its official twitter handle on Monday night.
It stated that the total number of confirmed coronavirus infections recorded in Nigeria is now 25,133 with 9,402 discharged persons and 573 deaths respectively.
On the 29th of June, 2020, 566 new confirmed cases and 8 deaths were recorded across the country.
The new cases were recorded from 19 states and the FCT, with Lagos State accounting for the highest number of infections for the day with 166 cases, followed by Oyo State- 66 cases.
