The Lagos State Government has announced the discharge of forty-five (40) additional coronavirus patients from isolation centres after full recovery, having tested negative twice to the virus.
This was announced by the state incident commander, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in a statement issued on Thursday, July 2, 2020. Sanwo-Olu noted that the patients consist of 17 females and 23 males, including 2 foreign nationals.
“The patients, 19 from Onikan, 7 from Gbagada, 3 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 8 from Agidingbi and 3 from LUTH isolation centres were discharged after full recovery and testing negative to COVID-19,” the governor said.
