Individuals seeking to travel within the country via Lagos Airports can now arrive at the airport 90 minutes before departure time, as against the previous Covid-19 induced 3-hour pre-depature arrival.

Announcing this today via his social media handle, the Federal Minister of Aviation, Mr. Hadi Sirika, said that the move was made to improve passenger experience despite the pandemic, following a careful situation assessment.

He said, “My colleagues and I have reviewed passenger facilitation at our airports. Consequently, I am happy to announce that, henceforth travelers are to arrive one hour and a half before their departure time for domestic flights.”

He also said that check-ins should be made online.
